This months artist: Peter Grabas
In keeping with this months Cafe theme, the moon is most picturesque, and a subject of great interest to the artist. A native born Chicagoan who started painting landscapes in the Carribean, and the swamps and jungles in the southern states of the US, Peter has used many mediums including the traditional style of the oriental brush. He studied for three years with a Shanghai brush master, Monica Ho Pei Liu as well as a number of art institutions and graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago in the last millenium (1985).
